Air Handling and Purification – IVFSynergy

Air Handling and Purification

Air handling units and filters purify air against Volatile Organic Compound (VOCs), Chemically Active Compounds (CACs), particles, microorganisms, toxins, solvents and odour.

Whether you are looking for an Air Handling Unit (AHU) for the entire laboratory or space, a standalone filtration unit within a room, or individual filters for inline gas supply usage, or filters within equipment we have you covered.

Covering a range of sizes, units, and compounds we are able to replace and fit a wide range of filters to equipment.  Regular management of your filters is important to manage air quality as well as product health as impaired or blocked filters adds pressure to the systems.

There are many types of VOC's, and include both natural and human-made compounds.

Most scents and odours are VOC's but there is plenty we are not aware of.

Below is an example of a few of those

  • Benzene - used in plastic production
  • Formaldehyde - ceiling tiles and wall boards
  • Methylene chloride - in sprays
  • Perchloroethylene - dry cleaning

These compounds can be found in a range of sources as examples

  • Coatings, Paints and Adhesives
  • Plants
  • Drinks and Foods
  • Flooring materials
  • Solvents
  • Air fresheners
  • Cleaning and disinfecting chemicals
  • Cosmetics
  • Fossil Fuel such as oil, petrol from vehicles and machines
  • Newspapers and Magazines
  • Photocopiers and Printing

Air Handling, In line and In Situ filters all help to reduce the burden on our equipment to VOC's, CAC's and Particles.  These need to be replaced at regular intervals and management of them is crucial in some applications.

At IVFsynergy we are driving awareness of these compounds and regular change intervals for filters and equipment

When was the last time you changed your filters or tested your units ?
